ANALYSIS OF EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGET IN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TIMOR-LESTE

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the revenue and expenditure budget at the Ministry of Education of Timor-Leste from 2018 to 2022. The analytical tool used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, namely analyzing target data, spending realization and income using the effectiveness and efficiency ratio while the data used is Primary data and Secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the average value of the effectiveness of the realization of the revenue and expenditure budget from 2018 to 2022 at the Ministry of Education of Timor-Leste is 81.05% which meets the criteria for being quite efficient. For the level of efficiency, the average is 81.05%, the criteria are quite efficient. While the achievement of program planning performance in 2021 to 2022 is measured from the average realization of the program which is quite good.
