The aim of this study is to determine the effect of training and motivation on employee performance through work discipline at the Institute National Statistics Timor Leste, Institute Public. This research was conducted for employees in the Institute National Statistc Timor Leste, Institute Public.. Using a quantitative approach, the research data was collected from 69 employees in the Institute National Statistc Timor Leste, Institute Public. Partial least squares (PLS) was used to test hypotheses in this study using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that there was no influence between training on employee performance, there was no influence between motivation on employee performance, there was an influence between training on work discipline, there was a significant positive influence between motivation on work discipline, then there was a significant positive influence between work discipline towards employee performance. In addition, it was found that there was no influence between training on employee performance through work discipline and it was also found that there was an influence between motivation on employee performance through work discipline.
